Kok responded by bursting into song, “We shall travel together, my Bible and I.” Jevon Kok is the pastor of Christ Embassy Church and comes from Curaçao. He was presented with some copies of Bijbel+ and a NBV21. The Bible plays a central role in this community, with many members of Antillean, Curaçaoan and Surinam descent. The gift of these Bibles enables the pastor to grant a Bible to interested people.
From The Hague to Rotterdam to Amsterdam
Next Sunday, August 28, Amsterdam will follow. Then the BSNF will visit the Church of Pentecost, a Ghanaian church, Kempering 58 (Garage), 1104 KG Amsterdam, during a service which is publicly accessible, and which starts at 10.30 am.
From Bibles to Bible Basics
The presentation of Bibles in Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam is part of a BSNF pilot project for Bible distribution to migrant churches. The project leader is Samuel Ekpo, “Pastors are happy to find that they can obtain Bibles from us in Dutch or other languages. And that we have a Sunday School method in English: Bible Basics.” Ekpo is the BSNF’s liaison officer for migrant and international churches.
If your church also needs Bibles, you can contact Samuel Ekpo:
